I have a my older MBP COMPLETELY set up the way I want it complete with a bootcamp install of XP and a few games. I am backup up using an External drive and Time Machine.

My question is when I finally get the new MBP in (again) Ill have the option to migrate from my old MBP or use the time machine backup . Is there any way at all I just copy the hard drive boot camp sector and all to my new MBP? It took a LONG freaking time to set up over many months and Id hate to do it all again. thanks in adavnce

Migration Assistant should be able to do everything but your Boot Camp installation. You should be able to do it via a Firewire Cable or maybe Wirelessly (the MBA can do this).

So basically nothing I can do but lose the bootcamp part and everything on it?
