I backed up and copied over the entire iTunes folder from the users > music folder on my iMac running Mojave, Since catalina has no iTunes and obviously no iTunes folder and i simply paste my backed up iTunes folder into, How would i go about restoring my iTunes library on a new mac machine that is running Catalina? Thank you

I think you could just hold down the option key, launch the new "Music" app, then select your old library from the dialog you see.

However, something you should know:
You CAN STILL USE iTUNES with Catalina.
There's a free app out there called "Retroactive" that "fixes" iTunes so it can run on Catalina.
It's worth trying, particularly if you use the [free] streaming internet radio stations. The new "Music" app DOES NOT PERMIT this.
