Transferring ownership of iMac

What does the new owner of a second hand iMac need to do ?

I'm buying a second hand iMac from ebay and its still under warrantly but don't know if i need to tell apple of the new owner ??

Also is there any problems buying apple care from ebay sellers these days ??

I don't know how recently you mean by "these days," but I bought mine off an eBay seller a year ago with no problems.

applecare stays with the machine, you don't need to do anything if you need to use applecare services.

If the machine is under AppleCare the coverage is supposed to be transferred. You can find the details in the terms of the AC agreement.

I've sold a bunch of Macs and have done the transfer every time. They can also deny a service claim without an original receipt, which is also in the terms. There is a lot of misinformation on these forums in regard to this.
