Asking for a friend. She transferred photos to iPad from camera SD and somehow all were deleted. Also on iPad are photos taken with iPad
She now needs to put them somewhere else to make room on iPad.
I suggested Dropbox but only iPad photos will transfer. How do you get the ones from camera to go. Any app will do. She even tried the film machine at supermarket and it didn't recognize camera photos.

Hook it up to a computer and transfer.

I think she did that. I told her to connect through my computer as you would a thumb drive but all the photos weren't showing. Only the ones taken with actual ipad. Therefore all the photos that came from ipad and are visible on ipad are not visible when trying to transfer. Seems odd. But I'm thinking format from SD card different. She got Dropbox and transferred photos but again only the ones originating on ipad went to Dropbox.

Weird. Did you check the DCIM folder on the iPad? Sometimes there are multiple subfolders under the DCIM folder.
