Ok, so I know how to transfer pictures from my Digital Camera to my mac, but not the other way around. iPhoto will not allow me to click and drag photos back onto the camera...is there any way to open up my camera with Finder?

Like make it appear on my desktop (as an icon), similar to when I plug in my iPod?
I tried messing with Image Capture and figure anything out.

Thanks for ANY help!!!!!!!

Some cameras (actually most modern ones, in my experience) will mount on the desktop looking like a removable drive. I take it yours does not--what brand is it?

If it doesn't, I don't know of any workaround other than buying a cheap USB-flash card adapter so you can mount the camera's card that way and copy files onto it.

That said, why? I've had significant trouble getting a cameras to recognize files copied back onto it when I've tried. If you're just moving them around, a thumb drive works much better.
