'Transferring Purchases from iPhone'

I've deleted CoolIris from my iPhone (and from iTunes) but every time I sync, there is still an attempt to 'Transfer' it from the iPhone to iTunes. I've had this trouble other apps before, which I was able to fix by just installing again on both iTunes and the iPhone and then deleting but CoolIris is stubborn! Any tips appreciated.

Sorry if this is something obvious that you've tried but did you go into iTunes and select "only sync selected apps" then deselect the one you don't want? This is how I've done it in the past.

Actually, that works pretty well too.

He isn't having problems with apps transfering to the phone from iTunes. He is having problems with an app that he deleted that is trying to transfer from his phone to itunes, even though it shouldn't be there!

Someone mentioned that this might be fixed with FW2.2 but I'm still having the problem. Anyone with a solution?
