i have an external 500gb hard drive nearly full of pictures music etc i'd like to transfer it all to my 3tb time capsule connected to my iMac can anyone tell me how please

Click on the time capsule in your finder. Create a new folder on the Time Capsule's hard drive. Drag and drop the pictures from your external drive to the new folder.
It may take a while.
