Hey guys, I've been combing through the threads to get an understanding of the loophole to keep your unlimited data and wanted to confirm a couple of things. Here's my current setup:
I have 3 smartphones lines.
1. iPhone 4S on tiered
2. iPhone 4S on unlimited (eligible for upgrade)
3. iPhone 5 on unlimited
#2 is out of contract and is eligible for an upgrade
my understanding is that I can transfer the upgrade from line 2 to line 1, do the upgrade to a new iPhone, then switch line 1 back to the old iphone and activate the new iphone on line 2, keeping the unlimited data.
Here are my questions:
1. can I keep using line 1 as my "upgrade line"? so when my iphone 5 is eligible for an upgrade, can I transfer it to line 1 again, upgrade, then switch it
2. do I have to be in physical possession of the upgrading phone (ex. line 1) when I switch it back (it's my parents phone) to the original phone
3. if I switch/upgrade the 4S on unlimited to a LTE phone will the unlimited 3G change to LTE unlimited with no problems?
