I have a Canon VIXIA HG10 and I was wondering how do I transfer the clips I recored into my mac? When I plug it it, I open up the hard drive,
-go into AVCHD then i go to either CLIPINF or STREAM folder.
-from their their are a bunch of .CPI and .MTS files. I am guessing this are the clips. How do I convert them to I can watch it and edit it in FCP and still keep it in HD.

-thanks

Use the log and transfer function in FCP to transfer the clips from the camera to your hard drive.
