iPhone 14 Pro Transferring voicemails

Hello!

I have a 12 Pro and I’m upgrading to a 14 Pro. For some reason I can’t remember this. Does your iCloud backup include voicemails and texts? If not what’s the best way to transfer them over to a new phone? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I’ve done iCloud backup and phone-to-phone transfer over the last several years, and I have voicemails from as far back as 2018, and texts that are even older.

Voicemails are at the carrier and are not relevant to your moving from one phone to another.

Voicemails are at the carrier and are not relevant to your moving from one phone to another.

And because of this…if the voicemails are important you should back them up in some manner.

Visual Voicemail lets you export them as an M4A and save them or whatever with the full power of the Share menu.

Apparently backups are a bad thing, these days.

That's the only "manner" I know for backing them up.
