iPod Transfuring Music

In October, when leopard is released, I will finally be buying myself a MacBook, and I was wondering, how will I transfer all of my music over to my mac? (When I get the MacBook, I will be getting rid of my PC)
I was thinking of using a USB Flash Drive, but idk if that would work,
