I switched from Comcast to AT&T and I'm pretty happy.
With Comcast I had 15mbps and now I have 12mbps with AT&T.

I used to just let Transmission run on my Mac Mini wide open and my internet was fine with my other computers.
Now with AT&T, with internet is ridiculously slow with it wide open.
SpeedTest.net said .39mbps when Transmission is wide open.
I turned on Speed Limit to 200mbps download and 50mbps upload.
SpeedTest.net now says 9.75mbps on my other computers.

Is there a better way to optimize Transmission, Mac Mini, Macbooks, Time Capsule, or AT&T Gateway for this?
