Transmission App?

How is Transmission different from other bittorrent clients like Vuze and uTorrent? I went to the application's official page in order to read about it and I didn't really understand what special features it has.

They all do the same job. I chose to use trainmission because it has scheduling which the others fail to offer!

It's the most Mac-like for want of a better word. Is Vuze still a resource pig?
