Transmission being stupid

Okay everyone who knows mac bittorrent clients knows this one

I have it installed on my MacBook Pro and when ever I add/drop a torrent by click and drag from a web browser the giant white letters that say Web Adress with the grayed out background gets stuck up on the screen and the only way I can get it off the screen is by quiting and reopening Transmission.

Any ideas on fixing the problem?

I don't think you can use links to torrents. You have to download the torrent file first, then you can drag n drop it into Transmission.

I may be wrong, but I've never heard of doing that.

when you start a torrent with transmission
i always download them then double click them and transmission loads it by itself and tada
