Hi all,
I downloaded Transmission today for my new iMac. Have it on the MacBook and MBP no problems with it on those. It won't work on my iMac. Downloaded it fine, installed. App opens but as soon as I download a torrent file, nothing ever comes up in Transmission, just blank. I even set the torrent files to open in Transmission.
I quit Transmission then clicked on the torrent file. It opened Transmission OK but the torrent never popped up inside the app. I have no idea what is going on with it or how to fix it. My port is open on it (have already forwarded my port). Anyone else had a problem with this and how to fix it? I would be very grateful.

NOTE: I wanted to update this to state that Transmission is now working. I tried a different torrent file and it worked perfectly which led me to believe that the torrent file was probably corrupt or something. That was yesterday as I had tried to use it on 2 separate Mac's both with opened port specifically for Transmission. However, my husband downloaded Azureus and the torrent file works on that no problem. The file contained a plus symbol (+) so it might be something to do with the torrents filename, but I really don't know. The problem remains unsolved although our current workaround is on Azureus. I hope that helps, if you cannot get a file to work in Transmission that is.
