Hi, I have recently switched to Mac and I am still confused on protecting my computer from internet.
On my pc I had Bitcomet with Peerguardian plus Avasta for antivirus.
I know OSx doesn't need the antivirus program atm but I am curious what to do about the firewall. Until now I just never thought about turning the firewall on my Macbook. So I checked out the Security in the System preferences and there was only 3 options... So I ticked on the last one and added some games on the list for permission(Battlenet etc).
After that procedure I have just noticed Transmission downloading speed drop dramatically... For people who use Transmission what kind of set up do you have for Mac to be secured yet efficient?
Thanks and please advice me what to do!!
