Hey all,

I was just wondering if there was any way to set specific download start and stop times in Transmission. This is because I am on a plan with my ISP that utilizes on-peak and off-peak download limits. Specifically, I would like to know if there is any way to set a download to begin at 12am and pause at 6am.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure, all you have to do is set up throttling during the hours that you don't want to ul/dl to 0 kbps. It's not paused exactly, but it won't be downloading or uploading.

Another option would be to write an automator action to open Transmission at the right time and close it later.

Set the scheduled speed limit to zero for the hours you don't want it downloading/uploading.

Thank you very much! Now I won't be capped for the last week of the month!
