Transmission transfer times

How long does it usually take everyone do download with Transmission? I am downloading two 2gig mkv torrents and one is only at 76% complete after 24hrs. The other shows 99.07% complete and looks like it has stopped downloading and is only seeding uploads. I can play the 99% file but is it actually done? Are these normal download times for 2gig mkv files?

For me it purely depends on the amount of seeders (users) sharing whatever it is.
The more the faster it downloads, it also depends on your connection speed.

So it can vary greatly. Any suggestions on torrent sites. I probably shouldnt ask that here huh?

Yeah, ask the BT sites, but unfortunately at the mom there seems to be an excessive seeding of junk, with duff seeders/trackers mixed in, so be sure to check the comments.

Transmission 1.0 seems a lot faster than 0.92, so I'm happy.

It's possible to play nearly completed torrents, especially music or video files, but you might get some flaky behavior.

Yes - unless you're just setting encrypted users as a preference, rather than banning unencrypted users.
