Transmitting live audio mac to mac

does anyone have any idea how I can use one mac as a microphone and stream the audio live to another mac??

I have no idea if this could be done, or how you could do it!

You could use a recording program, running on the other Mac, then set up file sharing on your computer and have the program save it across the network to your computer. Not really "Live" but you could have the program save a new file every 5 minutes or so. There are a couple shareware programs out there that do this.
Sounds like you are trying to do something sketchy though... hah.

What about using an optical fiber cable to connect both computers?

Maybe it would work...
