is there an app similar to transparent dock that will work on intel macs yet?

it says PPC/intel Platform.
check the link.

*edit*

somebody left a comment on the site that says it doesn't work for intel.

I keep getting AppleScript Error - NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4 (1)
It comes up if i click anything, or if i switch windows and do something else. They pile up over time. I think i better quit them before they become sentient!

They really need to find a way to make transparentdock work with Intel, or we'll just have to hope 10.5 comes with customization options...

I would use Cleardock.. but I don't like running Application Enhancer...................................................... .

I was helping a mate set up his shiny new MacBook for his wife (both are normallyh Windoze users I've manage to talk them around for home) and installed ClearDock for them...

but for the life of me I couldn't get rid of the border lines?!?!?!
I tried changing the colours, I tried setting everything to 0% on the little tabs... all to no avail.
Any ClearDock Intel Mac users who can help me out here?

Don't do it! For a new mac user, installing application enhancer would be a mistake.

Just uncheck the Re-Color the Dock Background:

Why...?

Application Enhancer has never caused any problems on any of my Macs...

Clear Dock has a great advantage over Transparent Dock, too, because there's nothing running in the background. Once the new background (or lack thereof) is in place nothing additional has to be running (except the technically the aped daemon, for whenever you restart the Dock or Finder, I think, but that's fairly unintrusive ;))...

Transparent Dock has more options than Clear Dock; most importantly to me is the "(re)move Finder icon" option.

I just uninstalled cleardock and installed transparentdock instead. I know I tried this long before I ever used cleardock although I can't remember exactly why I stopped using it.

Ah well, I think I'll stick with transparentdock from here on out.
