Transparent Ipad Lockscreen Slider

I've been trying to get my lockscreen slider background to become transparent, and after trying everything I've run out of ideas. I've changed the bottombarbkgndlock.png image but I still have this outline show up, and I've just noticed it is actually black somewhat as well as the unlock text should be bright white. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
