Transparent Windows?

I was sitting around today and had a nice idea for the next version of OS X. I would like it so when a window is inactive it automatically goes slightly transparent, much like the menu bars in the earlier version so OS X. What do you think of this idea? Is there any software out there that will make that happen?

Some programs already support window transparency. Two examples that I can think of are Adium X and Mactracker.

That's a shame.


I'm sure that are a bunch of them, but I thought Terminal was an important one because it comes standard with OS X.

Every app in OS X (that I'm aware of) supports transparent windows with this

NewsFire does this. It fades in and out. It also has a nice fade animation when it quits.
