Hi all,

This might be a stupid question but I'll need to be moving my setup across to another flat for a certain number of weeks. Moving this beast is quite a hassle and the only place I can put it is in the boot of my car. Is it a problem if the Mac Pro is sideways throughout the journey?

No problem. Just like any computer, its orientation does not effect function, except for using the disc drives while in the orientation.

Put a blanket around the machine, they DO scratch easy.

Those machines has more aluminum than the car itself. In 10 years they would be more valuable by the aluminum rather than the technology.

one other thing, don't leave your Mac Pro in the boot for extend periods in the sun/heat = not good
