Hi,
my macbook pro has started to do something weird lately. Whenever I connect my USB, the trash can icon on the dock will show that it is full when prior to connecting the USB it was empty. When I open the trash can, it has the files on my USB in it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this? I'm guessing that this means that I will not be able to delete any files while my USB is connected to my mac without deleting the files on my USB?

Thanks in advance!

The trash folder reflects the deleted files on the connected drives. The deleted files lie inside the trash folders of their respective drives. You connect another drive and you'll see the deleted files on that drive too. You either move these files out from the Trash and unto your drive if you need them or you empty your trash.
