After a reboot of my Mac mini running Mavericks, my trash can suddenly has 2388 .bundle files, with what appears to be random names like "7269164ae3afbb17038daac4a1b29467e0e8f88.bundle". They range in size from 51 bytes all the way to 49.2 MB - over half a GB total.

Any clue? I assume it is safe to delete these, but I have never experienced this before. The files are in the root of the trash, not in a "recovered items" folder.

Thanks for any insight!
