Hey!

I'm quite new to OS X, I recently deleted some files and they ended up in the trash (duh) so I figured why not empty trash (duh). And it appears that 4 files cannot be deleted.

How do I remove them? I can't choose to put them back, and when I press empty trash it just makes that trash sound and leaves them in the bin.

Aww it won't load :) Thanks though, I'll check it later.

Works fine for me.

That didn't help.

However, I have discovered that the files seems to be located on my external, when I eject my external WD they disappear from the trash.

You need to empty the trash while the external drive is mounted. Do you use Windows on your Mac, either through Boot Camp or Parallels or Fusion? If so, are these files that were deleted in Windows?

I deleted them in OS X. I do have windows installed as well. I'll try and see if I can somehow delete them in windows.
