Trash / Undelete for Snow Leopard Server AFP share

Hi,

Can someone please point me to the resource which describes how to setup trash / undelete on SL server afp shares?

Right now when user tries to delete something from the mounted share he is warned that this cannot be undone and files are gone, gone, gone.

I have tried to create .Trashes and .Trash folders on the root of the share with 777 unix permissions, it did not change anything.
