I'm thinking of buying a Travel Kit in order to use a MacBook / iPad adapter in various countries.

What I'm doubtful about is if the adapters are compatible with any similar-sized adapter (the ones shipping with rMBP and iPad Air), or just compatible with the charger that comes with the Kit.

Best regards,
Pedro.

Thanks for the early response :)
I'd still like to know if there were other alternatives though, that is, instead of plugging the PlugBug, just plug a different adapter instead (e. g. replace the US adapter with a UK one).

Have you looked at Apple's travel adapter kit? That's the only alternative I am aware of. I am doing the same thing, will be taking my rMBP all over the world. So I just plan on buying one of those two.

Yeah I looked at it, but my question is if those tiny adapters will work in the rMBP / iPad Air chargers.
It's just some tiny things, but they make an effort to add another charger just for expensiveness' sake :(

Out of curiosity, might this work with an Apple adapter?
It's from a certified, 6 yr-old Creative power adapter.

The Apple adaptor kit will work with all of Apples charging bricks (iPad, MBA, rMBP) as they just slide on. I use them regularly.
