Hello,

I have tmobile 30$ Walmart plan 100min talk, uno text, 5gb of data.

I will be traveling abroad for a little over a month and wondering how do i get tmobile coverage overseas? I have to be a postpaid customer right? So, if I switch to postpaid for a month this will fix my problem? Also, I can go back to my 30$ plan when I get back?

Thanks for the help!

You can see if the country your visiting is on tmobiles simple choice roaming. Calls back to U.S. Will be 20 cents and texting free. If your phone is unlocked I would just get a local carrier sim.

Yes, you have to be on a Simple Choice plan. It's probably best to ask a TMO rep about switching back though.

I am pretty sure that you can not switch back. When I signed up for that plan it was only available to people who had never been on T-Mobile. I would get a local sim rather than risk it.
