My company allows a 100 megabyte usage on International travel for the month. This isn't much so I disabled the following:
3G
Siri
iCloud Backup
Photo Stream
Notifications (one app at a time I disabled all of them except phone and messages)
iMessages
Switched to Manual Email retrieval
Disabled "Push" for Exchange Email
Disabled iTunes Match
Enabled to prompt me when WiFi networks were nearby (annoying but might help me hop on more wifi networks)
What else did I miss? I'm leaving data roaming enabled but might disable and only enable when I need to use Google Maps or query something like email. Any thing else I can do to reduce data use when I don't explicitly request data use be performed?
