Hey guys,

I'm traveling to Italy next week and was wondering how I go about getting a sim for my AT&T 5s to work over there or if it's even possible. I'll only be there 8 days so not really sure how that works. Any help at woud be great. Thanks.

Is your phone unlocked (and if not, have you tried getting it unlocked)?

You would need to get your iPhone unlocked through AT&T at the fowling link. https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/client/en_US/termsAndCondition

More than likely they will not unlock it if you are still under contract for your two year requirement. If they unlock, purchase a local SIM once you arrive.

Another option is to pay the international data, text and voice package through AT&T.

Phone is under AT&T Next so I'm sure its still technically under contract...

If you have travel, they should be able to unlock it for you even if it's under contract/Next.
