Traveling to the u.s easy coast in October

Guys as the title states I will be in the u.s in October and was wondering if any of you could shed some light on the best deals for a pre paid sim for my iPhone 5 for the month I'm there.

I mainly want it for a some data and emergency calls ect.

I will be starting in NYC and ending up in Miami.
