I have a desktop Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro. I want to travel with my MacBook and take some files with me. Not a strange request...right? But having trouble finding how to move some apple files and which files to move.

Specifically I want to move:

Address Book
Ical
Mail

When I return I will want to move these files back to my desktop. When I used Entourage, I only needed to move the entourage database. easy.

Is there an easy way to move the associated files for Address Book, Ical &
Mail?? .. or do I i have to hunt though all the Library files and prefs??

Advise??

Also do both MacPro and MacBook Pro have to be on the same OS? (currently one is Leo, one is Tiger)

Leopard or Tiger?

In Leopard:

iCal: ~/Library/Calendars
Address Book: ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook
Mail: ~/Library/Mail

Alternatively, sign up for .Mac and use it's automatic syncing features

Edit: Just noticed that you have different operating systems on each machine. You aren't going to be able to do it manually then, .mac is going to be the only solution.
