Travelling to Kenya. How to stay in touch?

I am travelling to Kenya for two weeks. I live in Canada. I want to be able to stay in touch with my wife. We both have iPhones. She has 4 and me 4s. How can I stay in touch without incurring roaming charges? Is my best bet to find WIFI?

WiFi is your only choice if you don't want charges.

Ok thanks. I am not good at this stuff. I first thought I could use somehow use Skype over the cellular.

If there is no Wifi, then there is always mail by birds.

Remember to turn off your Cellular Data before you get on the plane. You don't want email pushed to you and get charged the big $$$.
