Treo 600 - can be used as a GPRS Modem?

Having left my SE T630 in the back of a taxi, am in the market for a new phone. Figured I might as well consolidate my Palm Vx and phone if possible. Therefore, have my eye on the Treo 600. If I can hold out for a bit longer, perhaps the rumoured Treo 610.

My question is to all those Treo 600 owners - can I use it as a modem to access email and web on my Powerbook? Granted it doesn't have bluetooth, but can it be done over the hotsync cable?
