Palo Alto CA.
So I actually live just a few streets away from Steve Jobs. I have lived in Palo Alto CA. for about 5 years. I knew he lived around here some where. It wasn't till last year, that I actually learned which house was his. I do see him in his car from time to time, or at the local Apple store.

This brings us to halloween, as truly the only time. I can just go march right up to his house. I have heard that he does participate, and will sometimes hang out in the back of the house. Where they open the gates for tricker treaters. The last two years I was unable to make it, as my daughter was sick. This year we finally did it.

It was really cool how they had it set up decorations, sound effects, plus a huge copper cauldron with dry ice. I didn't see him or even his car there. I think we went a little to early, bummer:( I wanted to at least try and shake his hand.

So who gave you the treat? And I assume that it was your daughter who accepted it, not you, right? :p

Awesome..my vote for one of the most funny/interesting posts of the year: halloween at jobs' house. Too bad he wasn't there! More details..did you just ring the doorbell? Who answered?

lmao i have always wanted to meet steve jobs in person, at least you got to see his house and go into it unlike some others

They actually have it all set up in the back yard. You don't ring any bell. They just have the side gates open. every thing is all lit up. Some one just hands out the little bags. Their are many families' in the neighborhood. It gets very busy. I'm not the only one who knows who's house it is. Steve Young Of the San Francisco 49 niners. Is so posed to live somewhere right next to steve as well.

His wife does allot of work with the local High Schools. I think they probably paid a bunch of students to help with the decorating. As I saw quite a few of them still setting up, and handing out the bags. His wife was their and she was talking to some of the families. She was enjoying it. very friendly.

Shame you didn't see the Steve. Why can't you go in the place of your daughter?

And, I need to say this, it grinds my gears enough to say this but...you're using their when you should be using there.

Maybe Seinfeld answered the door?

Cool deal on the treats but i wouldn't think the dude would be there because of these "fans". And really now? You see him and jump up and down yelling like a tool? I'll never understand this fascination with the dude.

Those treats have no firewire ports. I guess they are the low-end candy.

I'm sure Odwalla! comes with USB 2.0, and as you can see, the taste sensation is being backed up periodically to an external Toblerone using Time Machine. Granted it will be slightly slower, but it's more widely used by the average consumer.

I want that Odwalla bar. Those things are good. Don't know about that particular flavor, but yum.
