Trick YouTube to run in hi-res on 3G?

Not sure if this is already discussed but I can't seem to find it.
Has anyone managed to get Voipover3g to work on YouTube?
I know there is MxTube but I prefer to just be able to view native YouTube on hi-res at all times.
