I think I've read about this, but can't find the info. Is there away to change the settings in safari so that web sites think you are browsing using IE? Thanks!
First enable Safari's Debug menu (described here). Then choose Debug > User Agent > Windows MSIE 6.0.
However, you should only use this when you need to. If used too much, webmasters will see distorted statistics that indicate that IE is more popular than it really is, providing a disincentive to support other browsers.
Great, thanks! Yeah, just want to try a site that says safari, firefox, etc. isn't supported. And, it doesn't look like it is, even doing this it doesn't appear to be working properly (HP support chat).
prolly has some ActiveX or similar MS-only crap in it to run it's "special features" - email them about it, it will help the world.
You don't have IE 5? (i see you can't even download it now)
