I'm new to Macs and I've had this Macbook for a couple weeks now (awesome by the way)

I thought it would be helpful to newcomers like me if there would be a thread where people could contribute useful tips and ideas for using Macs better.
Good downloads, interesting/fun widgets, general tips, anything like that.

There is no need to close this, as it is no spam or trolling. It will just fade away into the realm of ..... whatever is out there for neglected threads.
