Tricky problem for expert on iMovie for iPad

I made a movie on iMovie nothing strange there. I did view the final result

I then deleted the movies stupidly from the photos app. Then I discovered they were linked so I could no longer edit or see the movie.

Thinking all was lost I nearly deleted the project until I remembered I had viewed the final result and sure enough I can play the movie.

Now here is where I am lost, how do I save it somewhere?

I've faced the same problem at the Apple fora. The files are, IIRC, in the Library dir in the home of your app. Use for example iExplorer (or, if jailbroken, iFile) to access them.
