Tried everymethod and still wont unlock

I have unlocked a few iphones all were 4 or 8 gig iphones. i unlicked 1.1.4 ,2.0.0 2.0.1 ,2.0.2 and all went fine.

I have a brand new apple iphone 16gig 2g . i tried unlocking it with winpwn, libirty , pwnage and none have worked.

When i use winpwn 2.0.0.4 i get a 1604 error in itunes.
When i try and use libirty i cant clock on go for it , its grayed out
When i try and use winpwn2.5 it creates the custom firmware puts the phone in DFU then error and it closes winpwn.

If it is "brand new," it is a 3G, and can not be software unlocked.

Believe me its 2g , its just never been opened untill today. it was in are showcase.

it seems there may be certain builds of 2G iphone that can not be unlocked with certained softwares. My wife's 2G iphone unlocked easily without glitch with QuickPwn/BootNeuter, but my 2G iphone (purchased on the first day original iphone came out) could not be unlocked no matter how many times I tried.
