I noticed some strange activity from my gmail account today so I decided to reset my password using Safari's new password generator. It worked just like Apple said, except now the mail app is asking me to type in the new password for my account, but it doesn't give me the option to use my iCloud keychain to put it in. I have no clue what password Safari put in.

Long story short, how do I put in the auto-generated password into mail?

I have this same question... I found that on one instance I was able to find the password in Keychain on my Mac, but it was only for a router setup. I have tried to use Safari's password for other sites, but when it wouldn't work, I stopped using it.

There is a separate keychain in keychain access.
There are a couple of notes in the seed note that apply to iCloud Keychain access. It does not work well so far. It's a little early in the builds.
