Resolved tried to re-jailbreak ios5 not working

so i installed the semitether cydia app and it wouldnt let me boot tethered, plus the app didnt really work with my CDMA iphone 4. i decided to just start new and reinstall ios5 and rejailbreak it. i totally forgot to preserve my baseband before i jailbroke from ios4 to ios5. now i just installed ios5 fresh removing my previous ios5 jailbreak and then jailbroke the phone. the problem is that after the jailbreaking procedure ends, its not jailbroken. what am i doing wrong or did i do something wrong already?
 
mods plz delete thread. solution was that the most recent version of redsn0w doesnt work
