"Trim & Cut" app on iPhone: does it affect the quality of video?

Hey guys!

I shoot my videos with iPhone 6. I have an app called "Trim & Cut", it shortens my videos and I love using it. Does it AFFECT the quality of the video though?
If yes, do you have any other app recommendations for iPhone 6 that won't affect the quality?

probably - does it take longer to export than trimming with the "photos"-app (which should retain the original quality - not 100% sure about this)?
