Hello All,

I did some searching but did not find the right thread. If someone can toss me a link I would appreciate it.

I picked up a new 13" 2.8 i5 with 512 GB solid state drive from Apple - today.

Can I assume that I don't have to do anything with respect to enabling trim? The machine is identified as a "retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014".

Thanks,
R

Look for yourself. Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner. Select about this Mac. When the he about this Mac dialog box opens clic on more info. In the next dialog box, select System Report. In the next box look in the left column and select SATA/SATAExpress. Look to the right to find your drive and verify that TRIM is enabled.

Awesome...thanks.

The answer is yes, by the way... Trim support says "yes".
