Seems my non Apple Corsair SSD without trim started to lag, so I decided to enable trim.

So I used terminal to enable trim rather than installing trim enabler but realized that I must disable trim before system updates. :(

How do you disable trim before update so that I don't deal with stop sign at boot?

Is it just better to use trim enabler? If so, do I just click off before update?

Thanks in advance.
