Hi,

As far as I known, trimming a video on Photos App on Mac will not remove the portion of the videos that is trimmed (you can always revert the trim back to original).

Is there a way to "trim the original video" like you do on your iPhone, i.e. the trimmed portion of the video will be deleted and that will be the final video?

I am asking this question because trimming videos on my Mac is causing an issue with the my iCloud Photo Library. The videos that I trim on my Mac will not load without internet on my iPhone because the iPhone has to download the trimming timestamp every time I try to play that video.

Thank you!
