So Calif
Trip report with my 17 Air in Maui, Hawaii.

Haven't used the camera since getting the Air so I had to be a tourist and take some awesome pix.

The Apple Magsafe Air battery pack came in handy as the cell signals were in/out/marginal on the island - sometimes no signal upcountry / inland.

Magsafe battery was a great accessory and worth the price while on trails and hikes where only the SOS satellite system worked.

Rainbows every single day - sometimes double rainbows from the moisture packed tradewinds:

Haleakala peak observatory - shrouded in clouds all day:

First Nene bird I saw in the parking lot at Haleakala:

Sunsets on Kaanapali beach are magical - different each day:

Loved the magical clear waters of Maui.

Much better than the other islands we have visited.

Molokai was always had a cloud base over the top of the island....

Good to see a non profit org had opened up the visitor's center at Haleakala National Park during the government shutdown!

Absolutely amazing pictures! Thank you for taking the time to share.

I am absolutely ASTOUNDED at my Apple MagSafe battery for the Air. I did a test charging, while using, from 80% to 100% and there is no heat. How?! Every other MagSafe battery I've used would be close to melting plastic...

I got a second one coming in the mail because I like it so much.

Looking forward to capturing memories with this phone. :D

Yes, the Magsafe battery is amazing - it stays cool when topping off the Air.

I love the orange and green light showing charge condition of the Magsafe battery - reminds me of many years using the Magsafe 1/2/3 chargers for my Macbooks.

Photos are fantastic - better depth of field than previous models.

Air lenses seem so good that I don't need to haul around my DSLR w/ prime & pro lenses anymore!

I'm glad you got to showcase what the Air can do. Amazing pictures that go to show the Air is not the bad iPhone as many content creators have said it was. Yes you need to have a battery pack to recharge the Air if you use it a lot more than normal but then you do that with any iPhone and that this should not be a deal breaker on an otherwise great iPhone. :apple:

I took these photos using my iPhone Air the first weekend after receiving it at a Porsche car meet and got these. I was impressed by the quality of the pictures my Air captured.

Even with the sun shining directly into the picture, the camera on the Air is able to capture the scene with clarity as shown below . . .

Yes the Air does not have a wide angle or telephoto lens to use but you can still capture great looking pictures using the Air as shown in this discussion 👌🏽

Not meaning to hijack this discussion. Just adding that the Air is a solid iPhone. 👍🏽
