Can anyone give me a concrete as to whether or not you have to have Trip1PogoStick installed for 3rd Party apps to appear on Springboard?!

I'm having problems with apps crashing now and again now that I've installed the latest alpha of SummerBoard.
I've heard some people say that they have skipped the pogo install, and just went ahead with SummerBoard.

I am on the verge of doing a restore to my iPod, and re-installing everyting. Just want to know if I HAVE to install pogo to get all the other apps on Springboard.

I think you answered your own question...in short, yes, you need it.

No you don't!

Just done the restore, and skipped pogo.... all working fine now.
So you DON'T need pogo for 3rd party apps.
