Using a HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop with XP and I tried connecting to friends Airport wireless network. My comp picksthe network up great, full bars. I hit the connect button thinking the passkey screen will pop up but instead...
"Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no
longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try to connect again."
I DL'ed the newest drivers for my wireless card (Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN) to no avail. I am able to connect to other networks my card is picking up (it urges me to input the passwords, so I know something is working right.)
Please, this is beyond my range of knowledge... any help would be splendid.
